About Jay Jay

Jay Jay narrowly escaped a SoCal shelter overcrowding crisis and is now living his best life after being rescued. At about 5 years old, he brings all of the fun and connection of a mature, social dog—without the unpredictable chaos that comes with puppies. Jay Jay thrives on affection and will stick by your side, leaning in for attention and soaking up every moment with his people. He’s got a goofy streak, tries to talk to you in his own way, and really shines on car rides, walks, or just hanging out around the house. Polite at mealtimes, Jay Jay sits patiently waiting for his food. He’s great on the leash—no pulling—and crate time is no problem. He’s the kind of companion who wants to be close, loves bonding deeply, and is always up for some quality time outdoors or cuddling indoors. Jay Jay gets along well with children, making him a good fit for families or anyone looking for a loyal, easygoing friend. He’s currently in Lake Isabella, but transport is available to anywhere, including Santa Monica, CA. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
