About Whiskers
Whiskers is a young, large domestic short hair cat with striking white and grey fur. He was found as a stray and brought into Bond County Humane Society, hoping for a fresh start with a patient adopter. Whiskers gets along well with other cats and enjoys a good wrestling match with his feline roommates. While he’s a bit shy at first, he begins to come out of his shell with gentle attention and will gladly be picked up and petted once he feels safe. His favorite pastime includes chasing little spring cat toys around his room. If you pick up Whiskers, you might notice a bone sticking out at the bottom of his ribs—part of his xiphoid process that was fractured. After a thorough exam and x-rays, the veterinarian confirmed it poses no threat to his health or comfort and requires no treatment. Whiskers is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, tested for FeLV/FIV, and parasite-free. He’s ready for his next adventure in a loving home.
