About Melody
Melody is a 1.5-year-old Belgian Malinois who came from a tough start in Texas but hasn’t let that dull her spirit or drive. She’s mid-sized, around 45 pounds, with a sharp mind and a work ethic you don’t see every day. Show her a new trick and she’s likely to have it down the second time around. She thrives on working with people, always eager for something to do and someone to bond with. There’s a good chance Melody is housebroken since she keeps her kennel clean, but she hasn’t had the opportunity to prove it fully in a home setting yet. On a leash or when adventures are brewing, she can get a little amped up, but she listens closely and corrects easily—she just needs the consistency and structure a smart, energetic breed craves. Melody’s happiest with activity, whether that’s walks, games, training sessions, or a “job” around the house. She’s attentive, affectionate, and tends to get along well with other dogs. She hasn’t been cat tested, but that can be arranged if needed. Melody needs a person who understands her breed and wants an intelligent, loyal partner. She’s spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. She’s ready to be someone’s devoted companion, bringing brains, heart, and plenty of fun to the right home.
