About Banjo
Banjo is a three-year-old Bull Terrier/Whippet mix with an unforgettable set of pink-spotted ears. He sports a white and cream coat and weighs in at about 39 lbs. What makes Banjo stand out is his quirky, sometimes goofy energy—those Bull Terrier smarts combined with the nimbleness of a Whippet make for legendary bouts of zoomies. After months in foster care, he’s grown more confident and is now comfortable with people, though new places and busy scenes can still leave him a bit on edge. He’s fully potty trained and walks nicely on leash, always keeping a close eye on his person. Banjo is happiest around other dogs, and he truly thrives with a playful canine companion—expect to find him napping in a pile with his dog friends after a round of stick-chewing or laps around the yard. He’s very curious about cats, so a cat-free home is best. Banjo’s still sensitive sometimes, especially with young kids, so we recommend a home with adults or older children only. Chickens don’t faze him, and he loves a patient home willing to build his confidence further. In return, Banjo gives loyalty and plenty of laughs as your big-eared best friend. Banjo is being cared for in Volcano, HI through Action 4 Animals Hawaii. Make his next chapter his best one yet.
