About Skyye
Skyye has lived more than her fair share of hard days for such a young cat. She started out scared and shut down, seeking safety by hiding and keeping her distance. Being brought into foster care while pregnant, she clung to the corners and braced herself against the world. But lately, Skyye has shown that she wants trust to win. She still startles easily, but with patience and gentle routine, she's started to cherish quiet moments—her favorite being a soft brush and kisses from the people she's beginning to trust. Skyye isn’t yet the type of cat to chase down affection, but she enjoys it when it comes softly and on her terms. She’s wrapping up her time as a devoted mama and watching her kittens grow up, knowing soon it’s her own turn. Skyye could easily be overlooked—mama cats often are—but she’s slowly revealing the tender, affectionate side that will shine in the right home. Her foster believes that, in patient hands and a quiet house, Skyye could blossom into a lap cat one day. People willing to let her move at her own pace will see all the rewards of helping a shy, uncertain soul grow confident and comfortable. If you can offer that, she’s ready for her one last move and the comfort of her own forever. Skyye is in Clinton Township, MI. Click apply to start the adoption process.
