About Lana
Lana is a tiny, striking Shih Tzu/Morkie mix whose chocolate brown and cream coat draws stares everywhere she goes. At about a year old and just 10 pounds, she brims with playful energy and sweetness. Non-shedding by nature, Lana works well for people seeking a low-shed companion, but regular grooming will be needed to keep her coat at its best. She arrived as a stray, dirty and underweight, but quickly shed her wariness in foster care. Lana has blossomed into a brave, joyful, social little dog who is happiest mingling with other pups and curling up in your lap. She gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats. While she hasn’t met children formally, her calm temperament makes her a good candidate. Lana is still working on house and crate training—she’s improving every day with solid structure and routine. Lana thrives on daily exercise, sunny yard time, and plenty of affection. She’d excel in a home with someone ready to guide her training and let her enjoy her favorite hobbies: zooming around outdoors, rolling in the grass, sharing couch time, and joining you for walks. She's a loyal sidekick and ready to soak up all the love and attention her new family has to give. Give Lana the chance to start her new chapter—she’s more than ready for a fresh start.
