About Claire
Claire is a three-year-old Rottweiler who combines striking looks with a laid-back, affectionate personality. Her glossy black and brown coat matches her signature blocky head and her expressive little tail nub, which never stops wagging with happiness. Despite her sturdy frame, Claire is a gentle giant at heart—she loves nothing more than stretching out beside you or nuzzling into your lap for a round of cuddles or kisses. Her friendly and calm demeanor makes her easy to relax with at home, but she’s no pushover: Claire is smart, alert, and eager to learn, already housetrained, skilled on leash, and quick to pick up commands like "sit." Claire is dog-friendly and has a knack for making fast friends with people and other pups alike—she’s welcoming with strangers and known for her happy disposition. She recently entered the animal care center as a stray, and while she may need a health waiver due to a mild shelter cold (already being treated), she’s otherwise ready to find her family. She’s up to date on vaccines and is spayed, so she’s all set to go home. Loyal and sweet to her core, Claire is ready to bring warmth and friendship into your life.
