About Karma And Zen

Here’s a look inside a very special feline family: Mama Gaia and her five kittens—Zen, Karma, Prana, Shanti, and Chakra. On a rainy April morning, Gaia was rescued while giving birth outside in the cold, doing her best to shield her newborns with her body. After a difficult start, they all landed safely in foster care, where Gaia showed her gentle and devoted nature. She’s learning to trust and starting to relax, wanting an adopter who understands her history and gives her space to blossom on her own terms. If possible, Gaia would thrive going home with one of her kittens. The kittens are one lively, affectionate, and playful crew. They are ready for pair adoptions, or they can join households that already have a sociable cat or cat-friendly dog. The family is currently taking pre-adoption applications and will be ready for new homes around June 10, 2026. Visits can be arranged with their fosters. All adoptions are available throughout NYC, NJ, and Long Island. Kittens under 6 months will go home as a duo or to a house with another playful companion. Give these cats the peaceful and loving homes they deserve. Adoption fee is sponsored. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
