About Macy

Macy is a happy-go-lucky girl with a playful spirit and a big heart that's slowly learning to trust. She loves her crate, treating it as a safe haven to relax when the world feels overwhelming. Macy is housebroken, walks well on leash, reliably uses a dog door, and her house manners are excellent. She's not one to resource guard, and she'll stay in the yard even if someone accidentally leaves a gate open. Macy truly lights up around other dogs, though her play style is on the rough and tumble side. She isn't suitable for homes with cats—chasing them is one of her favorite games. Macy has a mischievous streak, sometimes making off with shoes or socks, and she'll happily shred any paper she finds on the floor. With people, Macy needs time and gentle patience. She's shy with newcomers and may bolt if approached too quickly or picked up before she feels safe. But she has been steadily growing more confident, and when she's at ease, her silly, joyous personality comes alive. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home that can give her space to settle and the slow, steady reassurance she needs. Once Macy feels secure, she’s endlessly entertaining and will win you over with her happy zoomies and sweet moments. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
