About Urgent Save Me Please
Kona is a young, spayed female Shar-Pei/Shepherd mix who desperately needs a family. The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is overflowing, so every adoption truly saves a life. Kona’s tan and black coat makes her stand out, but her personality is what wins you over—she knows how to sit and shake, albeit with her own twist, and she absolutely lights up when treat time rolls around. She walks calmly on a leash and handled her temperament test well with another spayed Shar-Pei/Shepherd mix. Though she's not yet house trained, she's quick to pick up new skills and clearly wants to please. Kona gets along with other dogs and would love a home where she can learn, play, and finally unwind after a stressful time at the shelter. If you can foster or adopt, you’ll be making a real difference for Kona—and for the next dog who needs a safe place. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Urgent Save Me Please
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Kona's Shar-Pei/Shepherd roots mean she appreciates a good backyard or frequent outdoor activity. While she can adapt to apartment living if given enough exercise, a yard is a definite plus.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Shar-Pei/Shepherd mixes like Kona are often gentle and loyal, making them generally suitable for families with children, especially if socialized early. Supervision is important while everyone gets acquainted.
