About Milo Scruffy
Milo Scruffy is a roughly four-to-five-year-old mixed breed with roots tracing to Australian Cattle Dog, Great Pyrenees, Shepherd, Labrador, and Sato (Puerto Rico street dog). After being rescued from life on the street, Milo has adapted into a well-mannered, calm companion eager to join a caring family. At about 60 lbs, he brings a steady, relaxed energy to the home and is fully house trained. He gets along with children and other dogs and rarely barks, unless iguanas catch his eye. Milo's tail doesn’t rise as high anymore due to an old injury, but his easygoing personality hasn’t skipped a beat. Neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative, Milo finished his health treatments strong and is on regular preventatives now. No food aggression here—he’s learned that friendly behavior gets him treats and love, which he takes to heart. Patient and affectionate, Milo has proven himself resilient in the face of hardship. He just wants a home where kindness is repaid in those quiet, loving moments he’s come to value. Give him a chance, and you’ll meet a gentle soul who brightens the room. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
