About Jericho

Jericho is a 3-year-old, 54-pound tan American Bully with a quiet temperament and a lot of promise in the right hands. He’s neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, crate trained, and impressively will put himself to bed if his kennel door is left open. Jericho rarely, if ever, barks—a quality that makes living with him calm and peaceful. He’s gentle by nature and does best with children over 5, as toddlers and small kids can scare him, causing anxious reactions. Jericho gets along with other dogs well, but he’s far too interested in cats for comfort, so a home without cats is a must. He’s completed a month-long professional training program and his foster continues reinforcing that foundation. That said, Jericho isn’t a fit for first-time dog owners; he needs a confident adopter with experience, someone committed to maintaining the training he’s already received. He’s a smart, athletic dog who responds well to structure and consistent guidance. Jericho enjoys long walks, hikes, and puzzle toys that challenge both mind and body. He’s strong and can be mouthy or jumpy when excited, and is still learning door manners, but with regular boundaries, he shines. Power chewing is one of his favorite hobbies, so tough toys like Nylabones are a must. Jericho is currently fostered in Waterloo, SC, but can be transported out-of-state for the right adopter (transport fee applies). If you’re looking for a quiet companion and have the experience to continue his progress, Jericho could be your perfect fit. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
