About Oaklyn
Meet Oaklyn again—a sweet, engaging dog who’s back with her trainers through no fault of her own. She settled right in and quickly reminded everyone why she’s a standout, showing off her friendly, social personality. Oaklyn comes fully house trained and crate trained, with a solid obedience foundation from JPK9 Oklahoma. She handles herself well out in public and remembers nearly all her training. She’s welcome at weekly group classes and can access lifetime refreshers if needed. Oaklyn is a "battle buddy alumni." If adopted by a veteran, her adoption fee will be waived, though she won’t go through the core training program again. She’s playful, especially with a ball, and gets along well with other dogs. Her fun side really shines during group play. She’s currently working her way down from her return weight of about 84 pounds, aiming for a healthier 65-70 pounds. A slight limp has appeared, likely related to her weight, so she’s being monitored as she slims down. She’s heartworm positive but back on prevention and will need her care maintained going forward. Oaklyn’s looking for a home that offers consistency, structure, and the attention she thrives on. If you stick to her needs, she’ll be a loving, reliable companion for years to come. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
