She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children, making her a lovely addition to many homes.

About Darla

Darla just finished raising a litter of four, and now it’s her turn to settle in with a family for good. She’s around a year old and is the definition of mild-mannered—sweet with both people and other animals. Darla gets along with dogs, cats, and children, and her previous family mentioned lots of grandkids she absolutely loved. She was surrendered simply because her family had too many animals, but she’s handled the change with her steady, affectionate nature. Crate time is no problem for her, and she’s very motivated by treats and affection, so training will go quickly. Since Darla hasn’t had much leash experience, she’s looking for a place with a yard and humans who are around often to help her finish learning the ropes at home. She’s 25 lbs with a short coat and will be ready to leave her foster home in Mead, Colorado the first week of June. Adopters need to come to Colorado to meet her—no transport is available.
