About Aurora

Aurora is impossible to miss, just like the northern lights she’s named after. She catches everyone’s eye with her unique silvery-gray coat brushed with gold and her bright amber eyes. Weighing in at a perfect medium size, about 38 lbs, she moves with an easy, joyful bounce and a happy smile that’s pretty hard not to mirror. Her start wasn’t easy. Aurora came into a crowded Alabama shelter with her puppies. She managed to keep them safe until they were old enough to be weaned, escaping the shelter scene in the knick of time. Aurora landed in foster with Dr. Nevis, where it turns out she makes fast friends with everyone—dogs and people alike. In fact, she’s an all-around social dog, quick to learn (yes, she’ll even give you a high five), and easygoing with other pups. Aurora seeks out attention and loves being in the mix, whether that’s playing, following you around, or collecting pets from new friends. Outgoing, affectionate, and always up for a quick adventure or a nap by your feet, she’s proven herself a loving mom and an even better companion. Vaccines and spay are done, and she’s ready for the good life she deserves. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
