About Sasha
Sasha is a young, medium-sized mixed breed who’s looking for a family willing to give her the chance she deserves. She first came into rescue as a stray and, like a lot of dogs in her situation, she was shy stepping into a new home. Those first days, Sasha bonded faster with the household dogs than with the humans, but after just a week, she found her rhythm and settled in. Now that she’s comfortable, Sasha is cheerful and adaptable, eager to join in with family life. She thrives with other dogs—her foster home has three—and she’d fit into a home with one canine sibling or several. Sasha is also good with children, so long as they give her a moment to feel out new situations. She spends her days playing, zooming around the yard, and collapsing in a happy heap after a burst of energy. She’s crate trained, likes her routine, and will curl up in her crate by choice. Walks are a highlight and she’s a polite leash-walker who shows zero reactivity meeting other dogs. Sasha is a confident beachgoer and can handle off-leash play, staying close while showing off an impressive game of fetch—even sharing her ball without a fuss. She’s the sort of companion you’ll want to bring along everywhere. Sasha is an easy size at about 30 pounds, making her a good fit for most homes. She’ll do best with a patient family that lets her warm up and become part of the group. Ready to meet a dog who is playful, loyal, and ready to make up for lost time? What are you waiting for?
