About Lucky Local Dog

Lucky is an energetic Lab and Australian Blue Heeler mix with a knack for adventure. At about 4.5 years old and weighing 55 pounds, Lucky was surrendered by his previous owners in Tennessee due to their inability to care for him, but that hasn't dimmed his loyal spirit. He thrives outdoors—hiking, exploring, and joining family outings. Despite a rough start that included recovering from being hit by a car, Lucky remains affectionate and eager to bond deeply with a new family. He's been living in a foster home and is ready to travel to New England at no extra transport cost. This dog would do best with an experienced owner who can provide patience, guidance, and consistent routines. He's shown he gets along well with other dogs. It's not known how Lucky would interact with children or cats, and his prey drive may mean extra vigilance around small animals. After active days, he’s happy to lounge and just enjoy being close to his people. He's crate trained, accident-free in the home, and up to date on vaccinations, plus neutered. Lucky isn't polished on a leash yet but is eager to please and become someone's loyal companion. If you have room in your life for a loving, spirited dog, Lucky could be your perfect match.
