Red is a 4-year-and-7-month-old female Pit Bull Terrier located in Bloomington, IN. She’s a medium-sized, spayed adult. Red is house-trained, vaccinated, and does not have special needs. She enjoys spending time with children and thrives with people who will give her lots of attention and patience as she continues to gain confidence.

About Red

Red came into the rescue in rough shape, underweight and caring for nine brand-new puppies. Now, she's settled into her foster home and has fully embraced her second chance. She thinks she’s a lap dog, always ready to curl up close, and she’s happiest cuddling after a good walk. She’s house-trained, knows how to sit, shake, and stay, and will let you know when she needs to go outside. Red likes meeting new people, especially school-age kids, and has become more trusting and at ease with visitors over time. She can have her quirks— she’s still working on greeting people without jumping or barking and is nervous around loud noises, vacuums, and folks carrying sticks. Despite this, she’s affectionate, full of energy, and absolutely devoted to the people she bonds with. Red does not get along with other dogs, so she’d do best as your one-and-only. She’s a Scorpio: loyal, bold, and always up for adventure. Give her the soft spot on your couch and some time to adjust, and Red will shower you with love. Your new best friend is just one click away.
