About Danika
Danika turns heads with her fluffy ears and gold-black coatâa striking puppy rescued from a California shelter and now thriving in her Oregon foster home. She was picked up as a stray alongside two other pups, but has shown herself to be one of those playful, loving dogs you remember. At just four months old, sheâs already showing potential to grow into a 55-pound adult, give or take. Danikaâs likely a German Shepherd and Collie mixâa fantastic blend for an adopter who knows how to keep a smart, active young pup challenged and happy. Currently, she does well with dogs of all sizes, and while sheâs lived with a cat, her chase drive is strong enough that she might be happiest as a solo dog in a cat-free home, unless youâre a confident handler willing to work with her. Danika is learning leash skills quickly, picking up crate habits, and loves to train. She wants to be out and about on adventures as much as she wants to crash and relax with you at home. Social and people-focused, Danika fits into the rhythm of homelife quickly but sheâll need an outlet for her energy and mind as she grows. Her basic vaccinations are current (including rabies and Bordetella), sheâs microchipped, negative for heartworm, and on regular preventatives. Adoption fee covers her future spay at a partner vet and a free wellness exam. Sheâs fostered in Sandy, Oregon but currently adoptable in Beavercreek, OR. Ready to meet your new best friend?
