About Dori

Dori, a petite sable Sheltie, just landed at Sheltie Shack Rescue after coming from a breeder who retired her early. At 3.5 years old, she's still getting settled in and her personality is just starting to come through as she spends more time with her rescuers. Her coat is a soft medium length, and she’ll be seeing the vet this week for her wellness check. Dori isn’t yet house trained and will need a family ready to guide her through the basics of indoor living. She does get along well with other dogs. A securely fenced yard is required for her future home, as her breed does best with safe outdoor space. Born November 28, Dori is a Sagittarius—a sign known for being cheerful and ready to explore.
