About Red
Red is one of those dogs who has seen hardship but never lost hope. He grew up crammed among more than 200 dogs, where meals were never certain and comfort was in short supply. His past left him scrappy but deeply loyal, and these days all he really wants is a soft place to land—and someone who won’t give up on him. Red isn’t likely to win beauty contests, but he’s got a heart that goes toe-to-toe with the best of them. He craves company more than anything. He’ll follow his person from room to room, perfectly content just soaking up your presence. Nights are his favorite; nothing beats falling asleep right beside you. Don’t worry about other pets or kids—Red fits right in. He’s gentle, housebroken, and patient with young ones and animals alike. If you work from home or spend more hours in the house, even better; he’s happiest when he’s near his people. He’s still learning the leash life, but the car’s his true happy place, and marathon walks aren’t his thing anyway. Red’s crate-trained in case you need to step out, but left to his own devices, he still quietly hopes for a home where he always belongs. He’s ready for his forever, and maybe, just maybe, that’s with you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
