About Monk
Monk arrived in Breinigsville, PA, after life at a Ragdoll breeder and quickly became a volunteer favorite. He’s easygoing and affectionate, known for sticking close, loving snuggles, and making everyone around him feel at ease. Whether you’re on the couch or walking down the hall, Monk will happily be right by your side. He’s friendly with other cats and thrives in feline company, always quick to make a new cat buddy. Monk’s a healthy eater and finds joy in the everyday, winning people over with his happy, laid-back spirit. He does have chronic rhinitis, most likely due to environmental allergies, which can make him sneezy and a bit congested—especially when the windows are open. He’s been on several meds that help manage symptoms but don’t clear them up completely. Monk also has a heart murmur, so he’ll need a family ready to be attentive to his ongoing care needs. He is neutered, vaccinated, litter trained, microchipped, and negative for FeLV/FIV. Monk is just over eight years old, with a long, soft Ragdoll coat, and ready to connect with his new person or family. Monk gets along well with other cats and children, making him a strong fit for many household types. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
