Meet Bolt — a soulful, gentle boy who is still searching for the safe and loving forever home he deserves. 🐾💙 Bolt can be a little shy at first and takes time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, he loves with his whole heart. He seeks out affection, belly rubs, and playtime, and has the sweetest, most loyal nature. Bolt has been one of our longer-term dogs in the program and knows the heartbreak of being adopted and returned. He was deeply loved by his previous family, but after months together it became clear that his nervousness made it difficult for him to live in a home with an autistic child. Since being returned, Bolt has been in boarding. At boarding, he's been exposed to many different dogs and spends time on pack jogs on a large property. Bolt is a true water dog and absolutely loves splashing around whenever he gets the chance. Bolt would thrive in a patient, experienced dog home with a fenced yard where he can explore, exercise, and continue building confidence at his own pace. He may need a little extra patience in the beginning, but the reward is immeasurable—a devoted companion who simply wants to feel safe, loved, and part of a family.
