About Lavender
Lavender is a sweet calico tabby with very soft white fur and a distinct dark patch on her chin. She charms with her tiny, endearing meow. Around five years old and about 9.25 lbs, she's a little reserved with new people at first but opens up for head rubs, which help her feel at ease. Give Lavender a few days to settle in, especially if things feel new—she benefits from a cozy nook or safe spot to call her own while she adjusts. Once she feels secure, she shows playful flashes, batting catnip toys and exploring tunnels, and has started engaging more now that she's comfortable in her foster home. Lavender isn't a fan of being held but tolerates quick lifts to a sunny window perch. She enjoys finding sunny or soft spaces and will relax in her environment once she feels at home. With other cats, Lavender is gentle and polite, keeping to her space whether or not the resident cats are friendly. She's low-maintenance and will let you know if she's hungry. She does well with both wet and dry food, uses her litter box faithfully, and is great with scratch posts. Click apply to start the adoption process.
