About Clyde
Clyde arrived from Animal Control in rough shape, his skin badly affected by mange and his trust completely shattered. He barely knew what kindness felt like, and every approach left him nervous and uncertain. Slow, steady care made all the difference for Clyde. Day by day, he learned that gentle hands meant safety, not fear, and gradually, his eyes lost that haunted look. Small steps—accepting a pet, coming forward for attention—became big milestones as trust slipped in where doubt used to linger. Now Clyde’s a different dog. His short brown coat has recovered well, and he meets the world with curiosity, not panic. He has let his softer side out, nudging in for affection and soaking up comfort with an ease we weren't sure he’d ever find. The transformation stands out, both in spirit and appearance; Clyde is every bit as handsome as he is gentle. Watching him decompress and blossom has been remarkable. He’s ready now—looking for a family just as committed and patient as he deserves. They won’t regret it. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
