About Brody
Brody is a 5-year-old, large Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix with short black and white fur and a charming, tongue-out smile. Right now, he’s thriving in foster care in Texas but ready for adoption in Mooresville, NC. Brody has energy to spare for backyard zoomies, but equally enjoys curling up for a quiet movie night. He loves dressing up for holidays and joining you for new adventures, making every day a little more fun. With friendly, laid-back female dogs, Brody does well, but he can be too rambunctious for smaller or shy dogs, and he’s happiest either as your only canine companion or with the right balanced playmate. He’s gentle, polite, and enjoys meeting new people, including older kids who understand dog boundaries. Cats, however, aren’t a good match for Brody. Housebreaking and crate-training are solid, and his leash manners are impressive. Plush toys are his absolute favorite, especially when he can put his own creative spin on them. Brody is a smart, food-motivated learner whose foster has helped him build strong obedience skills. He thrives in a home that provides consistency, encouragement, and structure—ideally with someone experienced with working or herding breeds. He doesn’t need marathon walks, but a daily stroll and a little mental stimulation will keep him happy. At his core, Brody is a loving, easy-going companion ready to settle in and become a loyal part of your life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
