About Knox
Knox is an 8.5-month-old, medium-sized retriever/pointer mix with a black and white coat, currently in Corpus Christi, TX. Unlike most pups his age, Knox isn’t all wild legs and chaos. He’s got a sweet edge, carries himself with calm, and is easy to have around—both at home and out in public. You’ll notice his even temperament and a gentle, slightly timid vibe, but he’s quick to warm up. Rescued with his mom (a former street dog who settled for a final litter in foster), Knox overcame a tough puppyhood, losing several littermates but proving strong and healthy himself. This guy genuinely loves kids, playing with toys, and being around other dogs. He picks up on things fast and has real smarts. Knox is not yet fully house trained, since he’s spent much of his puppyhood outdoors with his canine family, so he’ll need a little guidance about indoor life—but he’s eager, willing, and wants to please. His good nature and calmness set him apart from many pups, and he tends to get overlooked for his black coat, but he’s got real companion potential. Knox is being cared for by Faith and Hope Foundation, Inc, a Texas-based rescue that delivers to adoptive homes in various states. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
