About Toffee
Toffee is about six years old, fully vetted, and looking for a person of his own. This is a dog who lives for adventure with his companion—he’s up for walks in the morning, hikes on the weekend, car rides, and anything outdoors. Toffee sometimes pulls on leash because he’s enthusiastic and likes to keep moving, but he’s food-motivated and quick to learn. Once he’s burned off his energy, he turns into an affectionate, calm housemate who loves curling up by your side. He is respectful indoors, doesn’t chew on things, and keeps his kennel spotless, so odds are good he’s already house-trained. Toffee’s trainer praises his manners and foundation. He is looking for a home where he can be the only pet: no cats, other dogs, or small animals. Outside, he ignores calm, respectful dogs, but gets overwhelmed by chaos. He might do well with older, dog-savvy kids who understand how to give a dog space. More than anything, Toffee wants to bond deeply and become your shadow—he just wants a person to enjoy life with.
