Dexter is a German Shepherd mix who was born in a homeless encampment. His life began in uncertainty, without stability or safety. He was rescued early and has been in a loving foster home ever since. He’s grown up learning what kindness feels like. He’s learned that hands can be gentle, that meals come regularly, and that people can be trusted. And because of that, he has the sweetest heart. Dexter is truly a lover boy. He leans into affection, watches his people with those soulful eyes, and just wants to belong. He bonds deeply and wants to be part of a family. He’s still young and will need a bit of continued training and structure. He’s a growing shepherd mix with energy and potential, but he is eager to learn and thrives with guidance.
