About Kayley

Kayley and her sisters narrowly escaped euthanasia at an overcrowded south Texas shelter, thanks to a foster who stepped up just in time. With a month of care under her belt, Kayley’s ready to start her next chapter. She has a calm, easygoing vibe and delights in curling up with her person. This girl thrives on companionship and prefers hanging out at home with the people she trusts. She knows how to sit and is picking up new commands, showing off her sharp Border Collie mix mind. Walks are a favorite, and she’s a big fan of car rides too. Kayley has no trouble getting along with other dogs, no matter their age or size, and she’s gentle and patient with children—including toddlers. She’s even content around cats. At 5 months old and 25 pounds, she’s projected to reach about 40 pounds when grown. Kayley is spayed, up to date on rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. She’ll be in Homestead, PA as of 6/6, but for now, she’s in Austin, TX. Kayley’s birthday makes her a Capricorn—steady, reliable, and strong-willed. Give this gentle soul a proper chance at the love she’s been waiting for. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
