About Venus
Venus is the quieter sister of Athena, a young adult shepherd mix still figuring out the pace of shelter life. Sheâs shy at first, but once she feels safe, her gentle side shows. Venus will need an adopter ready to help her build confidence at her own speed. Other dogs bring out her bestâshe relaxes and opens up with canine company around and is happiest letting another more outgoing dog lead the way while she observes. Venus is unaccustomed to living indoors and not yet house trained, so patience is important. If your household includes another friendly dog or youâre able to give her the time she needs to adjust, Venus could be a wonderful match. Your patience could help this reserved pup come out of her shell. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
