About Betty Cocker
Betty Cocker is a Cocker Spaniel with a big spirit and a lot of heart, shaped by a tough start in life. Born blind and neglected, she survived injuries and infections before finally getting the care and affection she needed. Trust comes slowly for Betty, so she’ll need a patient home willing to go at her pace while she learns to relax and bond. Once she feels safe, her goofy charm and affectionate personality come through—she’ll happily sit on your lap, soak up praise, and might even squeal during a belly rub. Betty is crate and potty trained, responds well to food-based training, and finds comfort in routine. She loves exploring a yard by scent and helping with simple chores like gardening, even though she can’t see. Because of her history, Betty needs to be the only dog in her home and prefers a quiet, child-free environment. She’ll also need some extra reassurance and medication for vet visits, but day-to-day, she manages well. Betty isn’t a project—she’s a loyal, loving companion ready for a fresh start. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
