Biscuit Gremlin is a 5-year-old female Chihuahua/Dachshund mix with a red and cream coat who is small in size. She is currently in Princeton, MN. Biscuit Gremlin is up to date on vaccinations and is looking for an adopter who will help her keep building confidence and trust in a loving environment.

About Biscuit Gremlin Arriving

Biscuit Gremlin arrived as a stray in Texas alongside a group of other neglected dogs. Severely underweight and battling mange, she was wary at first but has since discovered that people can be kind. With patience and time, Biscuit Gremlin has proven to be an entertaining and sweet little dog who responds eagerly to treats—she’ll perform a routine of spins and jumps and dash into her kennel when snacks are involved. She likes to zoom around outside and occasionally seeks out attention on her own terms, but she’s not overly clingy. Biscuit Gremlin still needs support with trust and confidence building, especially with strangers and in new situations. She can be barky and keeps her distance until she feels safe, so a home without young kids suits her best. Someone who’s patient and comfortable with shy dogs will help her continue to make progress, especially with leash skills. While undergoing heartworm treatment, her activity must be restricted for a while (costs are covered by Ruff Start Rescue); she’ll also need you to help manage follow-up veterinary care. Biscuit Gremlin is only available for adoption through Ruff Start Rescue's Foster to Adopt program. She arrives in Minnesota on 06/06/2026 and will need to be picked up in Princeton, MN, within the scheduled hours. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
