About Julep
Julep was picked up on Kentucky Derby day after spending two days outside a house in Baltimore, clearly lost and not sure where to go. She'd recently finished nursing kittens, but she was barely more than a kitten herself—estimated at just about 7 months old. At first, Julep needs a little time to settle in, but once she feels safe, she’s incredibly friendly and loves to curl up with you. If you have a good window, she’ll spend hours watching the world go by, keeping careful track of birds and squirrels. She has already lived with both cats and dogs in her foster homes. While she’s initially wary around dogs, if they’re gentle and respectful, she will adjust—cat-friendly, laid-back dogs are best. Julep enjoys other cats and would thrive with a feline buddy. She is now spayed, up-to-date on her shots, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped. Julep is a lovely young cat who’s ready to settle into a new home and share her affection.
