About Sol
Sol has survived more than any young cat should have to. She came from an abusive background where she was neglected and underfed, but after being brought into foster care, she's bounced back with steady food, vet visits, and affection. Now, healthy and safe, Sol is looking for a real home. She’s surprisingly sweet and gentle, considering her past. Sol explores with a quiet curiosity and a heart that just wants to trust people again. Her mellow spirit and kind eyes make her easy to love. Sol does well with other cats and gets along fine with a calm, cat-savvy dog. She’d like to have a friendly young cat as a companion. She does best with older kids who understand gentle handling and respect her space. After everything, it’s clear she simply wants a peaceful life and a human who will treat her kindly. A patient adopter will end up with a loyal, affectionate shadow who gives back more than she takes. Sol is spayed, vaccinated, and litter box trained. She’s currently in The Dalles, OR, but transport can be arranged to the Seattle or Portland areas without an extra fee. She finally has a shot at the good life. Ready to fall in love?
