He’s known for being well trained, house trained, and friendly with both dogs and cats. Though he does have some allergies and a dormant tickborne illness, he is otherwise healthy and not on medication at this time.
About Xp Micah
Meet Xp Micah, a big-hearted goofball tipping the scale at 87 pounds who would climb into your lap if he could. Formerly rescued from life on the streets, Micah now seeks a steady, loving home. He’s noticeably well-mannered and responsive, trained to listen and eager to please. Though he wrestles with some allergies and carries a dormant tickborne illness (currently requiring no medication), he’s up to date on all his vaccines and in good spirits. A game of ball immediately brings out his playful side, but loud noises can leave him skittish—likely a holdover from rough times in his past. Even so, time with his foster has helped him grow more comfortable. Micah gets along easily with other dogs, and he minds his manners with chickens, rabbits, and even horses. He seems fine with cats, provided they’re dog-savvy. His sheer size and playful nature mean a home with sturdier children would be best. He is reliably housetrained, non-destructive when left alone, and adapts well to home life. Micah is currently fostered in Hebron, CT, but he can travel a reasonable distance for the right fit.
