Micah is a great dog. He's well mannered and very well trained. He does have allergies and does have a tick born illness that is not active and is not bothering him. The vet suggested he does not need medicine for the tick borne illness. He is up to date on vaccines. He is good with other dogs. He listens well and loves to play ball. He loves being involved in everything but he is skittish with loud noises. Micah was dumped twice and who knows if that is why he's so scared of loud noises but since being with a foster family, he has gotten a little better. Micah is an 87 pound goofball who wishes he could be a lap dog but will settle for being near his people. He is good with chickens and rabbits (will sit and stay at a respectful distance without issue), and ignores horses. He seems to be good with cats (there is one in the house) but the cat is not a fan of dogs - so a dog-savvy cat should be totally fine. We have no idea how he is with children and as he is a big doofus, sturdier children are a must. He is an amazing dog and we can't say anything bad about him. He is also good in a house alone, not destructive at all. Micah is located in Hebron CT but can hitch a ride to a new home within a reasonable distance.
