About Hirit

Meet Hirit, a survivor with a gentle heart. At three years old, Hirit was pulled from a kill shelter in South Korea, just as he was about to be sent to a dog meat farm. His early life was tough—cramped cages, dirty conditions, no comfort or care. Many like him never make it out; he’s one of the very few who did. Through dedicated rescue partners, Hirit and others finally got a chance to experience safety and hope. Now in Agoura Hills, Hirit is soaking up the love he missed for so long. He’s house trained and gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a fit for families or anyone looking for a patient, affectionate companion. Despite what he’s endured, Hirit’s spirit stayed unbroken. Living proof that some dogs are simply miracles. Give this sweet boy the home he’s waited for. Your new best friend is just one click away.
