About Banks
Banks is a striking Australian Shepherd with sharp intelligence and endless energy, looking for an active and experienced home in Christiansburg, VA. Off-leash trained through K9 Off Leash, Banks is also crate-trained, housebroken, and handles the leash like a pro. Tennis balls are his greatest joy—he'd chase them for hours if you let him. Banks gets along well with other dogs and loves meeting new people, happily rolling over for belly rubs whenever he gets the chance. He does have a strong prey drive and will chase cats, so a cat-free home is a must. Banks cannot be placed with children under 15, and prior experience with Australian Shepherds or similar breeds is required. His adopter must commit to continuing his structure and training, and a $100 training deposit—fully refundable upon completion of training within 90 days—reflects that commitment. If you’re an active person looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate adventure partner who thrives when included in the action, Banks might be your perfect match.
