About Sunshine The Orange Tabby
Sunshine The Orange Tabby showed up one day in search of company, greeting people with a meow and heading straight over for attention. He stood out right away—clearly someone’s pet before, he was eager for a gentle hand and seemed less interested in food than the comfort of human contact. Right now, Sunshine is safe with a foster, but garage life isn’t really what he wants; this cat is longing for a household where he can curl up next to people and feel part of a family again. Sunshine is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and healthy, with vet records available. He tested FIV+, but the virus is dormant and he is healthy—a typical, affectionate orange tabby who thrives inside with other cats, as long as introductions are smooth and there are no fights. If you have other cats, a trial adoption is welcome so you can all be sure it’s a fit. Preference is for adopters within 30 miles of Murfreesboro, TN to support the trial period. He is as loving as they come, quick to trust, and wants only to be a part of someone’s daily life again. The rescue is committed to his well-being and will support you during the transition, including taking him back if integration doesn’t work out. What he needs most is for someone to invest in him the way he invests in people. Your patience will be rewarded with endless affection. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
