About Cosmo

Cosmo is a sweet, shy puppy with the softest miniature bear paws and some impressive double dew claws. Still the baby of the litter, he’s quiet and tends to observe rather than jump into the fray, but his gentle nature stands out. His mom Cali was rescued while heavily pregnant, part of a semi-feral outdoor pack, so Cosmo and his siblings were born safely in foster care in Jackson, GA. He’s expected to be medium to large when full-grown—his paws alone look like he’ll have some size on him. Puppies like Cosmo are a bit of a blank slate for socialization; with positive experiences, he can fit in well with other dogs, cats, and kids. He’s not yet house trained but young enough to learn quickly with consistency and patience. All of his preventives, deworming, and two rounds of vaccines will be complete by adoption, and his neutering is included (the rescue even coordinates and pays for it). Requirements for adopters include that any resident dogs are already spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and on preventives, and the rescue does a home visit before placement. Cosmo will be available for foster-to-adopt starting 5/30/2026, with his adoption finalizing after his neuter appointment. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted, low-key pup who’s ready to blossom in a loving home, he might be just the companion you need. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
