About Buddy
Buddy is an 8-year-old neutered male domestic shorthair with a white and tabby coat. He came in rough shape, sporting a substantial neck wound and serious dental problems after surviving on the streets. Thanks to diligent foster care and a dedicated vet team, he healed โ though he now has just two teeth left and a patch of fur still growing in. It doesnโt slow him down: Buddyโs adapted well to both dry and canned food (he especially likes Science Diet and Fancy Feast Gravy). This older guy is all about gentle connection. He leans into pets and neck rubs, seeks out human company, and stays mellow even in new spaces. Heโll chase a ball around the living room and then settle quietly into a soft bed nearby. Buddy gets along well with other cats but will chase dogs, so dog-free homes are best. Respectful, calm kids do fine by him. Buddy is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, and medically cleared. Heโs ready to settle into a peaceful, stable home where the main things asked of him are showing up for snuggles and enjoying the good life he missed for too long.
