About Max Cooper

Meet Max Cooper, a striking white Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Terrier mix whose deep, soulful eyes invite you in. Deaf from birth, Max doesn't let his disability hold him back. Instead, he's found his own way of being a joyful companion, learning through sight, touch, and connection. His energy is contagious and his favorite game by far is fetch—he loves chasing toys as much as he loves a good play session. Car rides and exploring new places light him up, but he's just as happy cuddled beside you, showing off his gentle nature when it's time to relax. Max craves interaction and adventure with people who understand his zest but can also respect his limitations. He bonds quickly and is genuinely affectionate, seeking out company for his curious explorations—and his quiet moments alike. Max gets along well with most other dogs and enjoys playful romps with them, but he hasn't been tested with cats. Due to his special needs, he would do best in a home without young children. Max is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He's currently making the most of foster life in Seguin, TX, dreaming of a forever home where his resilience and big heart will be cherished.
