About Johnny
Johnny is part of the Schitts Creek Litter—a sweet, inquisitive puppy looking for a place to call home in Lincolnshire, IL. His mother, Moira, is an Anatolian Shepherd mix and a survivor, coming into rescue under tough circumstances but never losing her gentle, calm nature. With an 85-pound mom and a likely large-breed dad, Johnny is expected to grow into a big boy, possibly reaching around 100 pounds. His sable coloring comes from his possible German Shepherd ancestry. Johnny’s foster describes him as intelligent, curious, and incredibly affectionate; he enjoys giving little kisses and occasionally asks to be held. He plays well with his siblings and other dogs, and even though he's just a baby, Johnny seems eager to have a job or purpose. As he grows, each day reveals more of his unique personality. Johnny is vaccinated and ready for the next steps in his life. Families who adopt from For Good Rescue can expect pets who have been thoroughly vetted and cared for. With a March 20th birthday, Johnny is an Aries—full of energy and spirit! Think you are the one? Submit an application!
