About Macy

Macy landed at DASH after her time in a rural southern Ohio shelter and now thrives in the DASH Prison Program. She’s picking up socialization, crate training, and the basics, though she’ll need patience and continued practice from her future family to really lock those in. Macy is unmistakably sweet—she lights up meeting new people and enjoys playtime with other dogs. She’s already housebroken in her current setting and handles a leash well, making outings straightforward. Like plenty of clever dogs, Macy can't quite resist the lure of a trash can. Her handler is working on boundaries, but you'll want to keep bins secured at home. She hasn't met cats or children yet, so any introductions will need to be slow and supervised. Overall, Macy is a good-natured, goofy dog looking for people who appreciate her quirks and will help bring out her best. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
