About Ryan
Ryan is the kind of cat who stirs up a quiet ache in your heart—and it’s all for the right reasons. Rescued from life in Branch Brook Park in Newark after rough beginnings, Ryan and his friend Eva have known more hardship than any kitten should, but he's pure love through and through. He’s a little tuxedo who radiates warmth: gentle to his core, content to snuggle, and always thrilled to be held or carried. Pick him up and he melts into your arms, as if that’s where he’s belonged since day one. Soft-spoken and calm, Ryan would fit beautifully into a home with children or anyone craving a mellow, affectionate companion. He doesn’t ask for much—just a sense of safety, some company, and a quiet place to land. Despite his early challenges, Ryan greets everyone with instant trust and sweetness, showing almost none of the caution you might expect. He’s still learning how to simply be a carefree kitten, but he doesn’t let that hold him back. Ryan shares a tight bond with Eva, the tabby he was rescued with, and keeping them together is our dream scenario. If he’s to be adopted alone, he’ll need a resident cat friend to lean on—companionship means everything to him. Currently fostered in Bloomfield, NJ, and ready for the right person or family, with transport available to a perfect match. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
