This sweet boy came from heartbreaking beginnings after being found in an abandoned home in unimaginable conditions. Sven has been with Catalyst TNR for the past year, learning what love, comfort, and safety truly feel like—and he has absolutely blossomed. Sven is a total lovebug and attention seeker who wants to be involved in everything you’re doing. He adores lounging around, batting at toys, chatting with his people, and soaking up every ounce of affection he can get. If you’re looking for a cuddly companion with personality, Sven is your guy! Like many smart and curious cats, Sven can sometimes get himself into a little mischief when he’s bored—especially by chewing on things he shouldn’t! Offering plenty of interactive toys, enrichment activities, and dental treats will help keep this playful boy entertained and redirect his chewing habits in a positive way. Sven did experience some tummy troubles when he first came into rescue, but after veterinary workups and treatment, he’s doing much better. Because of this, any food changes should be made slowly and carefully to avoid upsetting his stomach. Sven also requires regular brushing and occasional bathing to maintain his gorgeous coat, as he is prone to mats without proper upkeep. His vet noted mild gingivitis, so staying on top of dental care and offering dental treats will help keep this handsome boy healthy and happy. Sven is healthy, loved, and ready for his forever home!
