About Rhett
Rhett has come a long way from his days trying to survive outside in Sacramento, CA. Once thought of as the “grumpy cat,” this orange buff-and-white tabby just needed a safe place to decompress and show his soft side. Now, Rhett seeks out attention, loves affection, and always wants to be part of the action. He’s playful, enjoys pets, and thrives on following his people from room to room—and even into the yard for some supervised exploring. Rhett carries a few battle scars from his outdoor days, including an FIV positive status. This means he should stay indoors and not be around other cats, but he can live a healthy life with regular vet care. He'd be best as your only feline companion. Rhett gets along with friendly dogs and children, and absolutely blossoms when given the chance to be social on his terms. If possible, he’ll appreciate a safe catio or a bit of supervised outdoor time. A solid scratching post is a must for this dude—he's committed to his claws. Recently neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and thoroughly checked over, Rhett is ready to start his next chapter. He brings energy, affection, and loyalty by the pawful. Ready to fall in love?
