About Hala
Hala is a four-year-old Persian with a striking long white coat and a story that starts far from Pittsburgh, PA—she made her way here all the way from Egypt. After surviving the streets of Cairo, missing an eye and underweight, Hala has blossomed into a healthy, fluffy companion. Her missing eye and signature snaggle tooth only add to her charm and individuality. As a housecat, Hala is affectionate and playful. She chases wand toys, loves tunnels, and can’t resist a round of play with catnip kickers. Once she's worn out, she’ll curl up on your lap for attention or nap happily in her cat tree. Hala thrives on human interaction and welcomes all the chin scratches she can get. She does well with larger dogs, but cats are another story—she needs to be the only cat in the house. Hala has been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and is current on vaccines. After spending years in a shelter overseas, she's ready for a real home. Her international journey means her adoption fee is $500, covering travel and care costs. Ready to make Hala part of your family? Click apply to start the adoption process.
