About Zeke

Meet Zeke! Zeke is a striking 3-year-old German Shepherd/Shiba mix who narrowly escaped euthanasia and is eager for his next chapter with a family who will really value him. Loyal and incredibly smart, Zeke bonds deeply with his people—he wants to be a part of whatever you’re doing. He handles the leash well and already knows his basic commands. A yard gives him the space he loves to explore, but he’s just as happy relaxing close by. Zeke prefers a calm, predictable home life. He does best as an only dog or sharing a home with another large, mellow dog. Small dogs and cats aren’t his thing, and he thrives best somewhere peaceful where he can feel at ease. Although he’s past the hyper puppy stage, Zeke brings plenty of active, playful energy and remains a loving, affectionate companion. He’s ready for a permanent home that will offer him love, safety, and stability. Currently fostered in Sacramento, CA, but available for adoption to the Santa Monica area. What are you waiting for?
