About Jolene
Jolene has a plush tricolor coat, a broad smile, and big, expressive ears—all adding up to a lot of charm. She’s a standout socializer among both dogs and people, and her loyalty is easily won over with snacks and a bit of attention. Jolene thrives in the company of her humans, handles car rides calmly, and walks politely on a leash. She’s house training in progress, but her mellow temperament and sweet nature more than make up for it. At about 4 years old and 62 lbs, Jolene is fully vetted and currently undergoing heartworm treatment. Her adoption or foster placement does come with one requirement: the adopter or foster must be within driving distance of Chester, NJ so she can complete her medical care. Big Dog Rescue Project handles all treatments; all she needs is a supportive home while she recovers. Jolene gets along well with other dogs and is also great with kids, making her a wonderful fit for many households. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
